APRIL GRIER CASTING is committed to promoting inclusivity and breaking down barriers in the casting industry.  We firmly believe that every individual, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age and ability, deserves to be seen and heard.  We strive to challenge    traditional casting norms and ensure that images of  underrepresented groups are authentically portrayed in  every project we undertake

APRIL GRIER  is an experienced casting professional and project manager with a background in media production.  She has developed a deep understanding of the casting process through first-hand experience casting for commercials/films/theatre and working closely with actors, cinematographers, directors, and voiceover artists.

In addition to her work in casting, April also serves as a Faculty member at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Her courses Film Director: Spike Lee,  Black Experience and Film Medium, Afromusicology, Race in Today's World and Race, Class, Gender and Schooling showcase her expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) topics.
